Stoke on Trent Home Eye Tests

Are you looking to book a home eye test in Stoke on Trent for yourself or a relative? Eyecare Mobile Opticians are conducted by fully qualified optometrists who use the latest portable equipment to accurately check the eyes. As well as checking your prescription, they will also be checking for conditions that can affect your eyes, such as cataracts, glaucoma, macula degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy as well as other conditions too.

Should you require more spectacles, the optometrist will bring a large selection of frames and discuss all the lens options with you. We supply all lens options which include single vision, bifocals, varifocals, thinner and lighter lenses as well as transitions. Free NHS spectacles are available to those that qualify. Spectacles are normally delivered between 1-2 weeks.

Why have a home eye test?

Regular eye tests are very important, not just to check if your prescription has changed, but also to check for conditions that can impair your sight.
Early detection is always better as some of these can develop very gradually without symptoms and you may not be aware the condition is developing. In the eye test, we will check for all these conditions. The eyes being the windows to your inner body, we can also check for health conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes.
